  Don't let last year's litter get in the way of this year

  Even the tractor couldn't get the truck out of the mud this time.

 

 

 

  These leaves became frozen in multiple layers of a puddle as they flowed down the stream and temperatures suddenly dropped.

  The honeybees are out, but not so the flowers, so they are finding nectar wherever they can.  Snowdrops will have to do.

  Reesie making it clear to Marty she is not sharing her bone for teething.

  Time to move out the mice to make room for the returning birds. 

Moriah helps Don hang buckets along the road. She's going to be the one woman bucket brigade for Don.  Once again, Don is the Huck Finn of sugaring!

The Sap is Flowing!  Let the Sugaring Season Begin!  

  All the color had been washed away and the fog settled in the valley on the way to Bristol.  This isn't a black and white photo, it was just a black and white day.  

Alan Matthews used Mardi Gras beads to mark the woods trail between his and our house and along other trail too, and they are still there after many years.

  We visited The Snowflake Bentley Museum today, and the snowflake pictures were amazing, and this quote made you appreciate their existence even more.
